Abstract:: The popularity of Microsoft Excel has it being used for tasks that go well beyond a few spreadsheets of data and results.

When an Excel application grows beyond a single task or spreadsheet, the complexity soars and the attendant chaos means expense, time, and living with unseen and hard to find errors.

Excel applications do not grow beyond the single workbook very well.

Outside of the straightforward task, an involved Excel application begins to represent the work the computer was supposed to eliminate.

This paper presents an avenue where the Excel that everyone knows can be retained for these larger applications, but without the linking formulas, databases, complexity, and drama with which all of us are so familiar.
