ANN ARBOR Mich. — Today’s sophisticated investors report that the ability to execute strategy is more important than the strategy itself. Allocation of resources and focusing the organization’s day-to-day activities on achieving the company’s strategic goals are key, yet in many companies, failed strategies, lost profits and missed opportunities are the result of efforts that have become disconnected from the company’s strategic planning, budgeting and reporting processes.
For companies that want to turn strategies into profits, Comshare, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CSRE) is sponsoring a free webcast with CFO.com to address how managers can connect their company’s strategic planning, budgeting and reporting processes to proactively manage, plan and control company resources to drive profitability through information technology. CFO.com, owned by The Economist Group and part of CFO Publishing, provides online tools and resources for financial executive. The broadcast, “Turning Strategies into Profits: The Role of Management Planning and Control Systems,” will take place on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
