NEW YORK, NY, May 21, 2008 – The CFO Group announces today that John E. Pal will join as vice president of E-media for the company, with primary responsibility for product development of CFO.com and all digital products. The role encompasses enhancement of Website characteristics, strategic planning, marketing, execution, and ongoing management. Pal will report to Frank Quigley, general manager and publisher.

Pal’s background includes extensive experience with B2B E-media including serving as general manager of the Healthcare Marketing Network, marketing director for Medical Economics for Thomson Healthcare, and publisher at Lexis-Nexis for Finance/Media Vertical Markets. His B2B E-commerce experience includes his tenure as vice president of marketing for WebMD, and his most recent experience as director of E-business for MetLife, Inc. He has been successful in leadership positions for digital products for more than 12 years.

"We expect John to take our site performance to the next level--both in metrics and revenue--by understanding users' information needs and translating that to new digital products and offerings," said Quigley. "In this way, CFO will offer our advertisers and sponsors a more compelling marketing package."

"I am excited to join the CFO team and build upon the success they have achieved in the interactive space," said Pal. "The opportunity to further leverage the powerful CFO brand and strategic position—by developing innovative programs for marketers to reach their business customers – is compelling."

Pal will work closely with CFO's chief content officer, Julia Homer, and with CFO.com editorial director Tim Reason to improve the user experience on the site. He will also work closely with CFO Conferences and CFO Research Services to integrate their offerings into CFO.com. "I think that a close relationship with the CFO sales teams will allow us to deliver very compelling digital solutions to our clients," said Pal.
